Plan once, check the details.

Choose an active batch, name the lesson and set its start and end time. For a regular class, create a weekly series of up to 40 lessons. Frenchify checks for overlapping classes across your teaching schedule before saving.

Every batch has a timezone. Keep it aligned with the group’s agreed schedule, particularly when learners join from different regions or clocks change. Check the displayed date and time with your students before the first lesson.

Put the meeting link where the lesson lives.

Connect your Google account in Settings to create events on your primary Google Calendar and request Meet links when you schedule classes. You can also supply an existing Google Meet link when creating a lesson.

Calendar work runs in the background. Wait for the meeting status to become ready before relying on the link. If a connection needs attention, reconnect Google or retry meeting creation from the lesson.

Close the lesson without losing the details.

1. Record attendance

   Mark each enrolled student present, absent, late or excused. These records give your progress conversations useful context.

2. Write the recap

   Summarize the activity, useful language and the practice students should revisit. A short, specific recap is easier to use than a transcript.

3. Mark topics and set the follow-up

   Choose the course topics you covered and optionally create a homework follow-up with a deadline. Covered topics become part of the batch’s progress record.

Handle changes from the classroom.

Reschedule a lesson while it is still scheduled, or cancel it when needed. Frenchify creates classroom alerts for schedule changes. Connected Google events are updated or cancelled through the integration; make changes in Frenchify to keep that workflow together.
