From scheduled lesson to shared conversation.
Connect the Google account you teach with. Frenchify can create events in its primary calendar and request a Google Meet link for each lesson you schedule.
Connect from your teacher account.
Open Settings
Sign in as a teacher and find Google Calendar & Meet. Choose the Google connection action and review Google’s authorization screen.
Choose your teaching account
Use the account whose primary calendar should hold these lessons. Google or your organization may restrict which accounts can authorize the connection.
Create a lesson and check its status
Schedule a class in an active batch. Event and conference creation run in the background; verify that the meeting link is ready before the class starts.
What the connection does.
| Action in Frenchify | Google Calendar behavior |
|---|---|
| Schedule a connected lesson | Creates an event in the connected account’s primary calendar and requests a Meet conference. |
| Reschedule a connected lesson | Updates its existing Google event through a background job. |
| Cancel a connected lesson | Requests cancellation of the corresponding Google event. |
| View the class as an enrolled student | Shows the saved meeting link in the Frenchify classroom when available. |
This is a Frenchify-to-Google scheduling workflow. It does not import external Google events, provide two-way calendar editing or automatically add students as Google event attendees.
If the meeting link is not ready.
- Check the lesson’s meeting status. A pending link may still be processing; an error needs attention before class.
- Reconnect the correct Google account in Settings if authorization has expired or been revoked.
- Use the lesson’s retry option after resolving the connection. Check the link again rather than assuming the retry succeeded.
- If you already have a valid Google Meet room, supply that link when creating a lesson. Keep students informed of the final class link.
- Ask your administrator for help if Google connection is unavailable or background synchronization does not complete.
Your classroom stays in your hands.
Review your Google account and organization settings for meeting access and participant controls. A link being visible in Frenchify does not determine who Google permits to enter the meeting. Frenchify is a WebQube product; Google Calendar and Google Meet are Google services.
